Dr. Hoffman is an active member of many distinguished professional organizations, one of them being Healing the Children. He is the President of Healing the Children FL and oversees our Missions Abroad Program. He has dedicated his life to providing impoverished children with medically necessary and life-saving surgeries. Children from around the world would be living lives of pain, shame, despair and ridicule if it weren't for the care that Dr. Hoffman and his team provide. He recently provided a girl from Africa with donated medical and surgical services to remove a tumorous growth on her face.  The tumor had grown to such an extent that she suffered severe deformity, difficulty swallowing, smiling and talking. She was unable to attend school and was often shunned by others. Now thanks to Dr. Hoffman and his team she has obtained a new lease on life.

Dr. Hoffman has been a supporter and member of Healing the Children for over 20 years. He has led over forty surgical missions to Third World countries and has performed surgery on more than 1000 children with cleft lip, cleft palate, and other facial deformities.  Dr. Hoffman exemplifies the compassion and commitment of our volunteers.
